Prayers for Holy Souls


	Our Lord told St. Gertrude the Great that the following prayer would release a vast number of souls from Purgatory each time it is said. The prayer was extended to include living sinners as well:

Eternal Father, I offer thee the most Precious blood of thy Devine Son, Jesus, in union

With all the masses said this day through out the world, for all The Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and family.

Beloved suffering souls in Purgatory,I dearly love you and I wish to help you.

Know that I constantly offer for your relief and release,prayers, penance, acts of love and indulgences.

My greatest joy is to know that such acts are deemed worthy by God to relieve and release you from Purgatory.

Each soul released becomes for me a precious jewel which I offer to God with pure love.
